Hawa Mahal

Jaipur’s most-unmistakable milestone, the Hawa Mahal is an exceptional pink-painted, carefully honeycombed hive that ascents a bewildering five stories.
History
It was developed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh to empower women of the regal family unit to watch the life and parades of the city. The top offers staggering perspectives over Jantar Mantar and the City Palace one way and over Sireh Deori Bazaar in the other.
