Jal Mahal

The castle design brags of a normal Rajput and Mughal style which is very like that of Amer Fort. Made in red sandstone, the castle is really five-storeyed where just the top story is obvious (rest are submerged).
At the top, there is a nursery that has semi-octagonal towers in each corner. Albeit whenever it is a decent time to visit Jal Mahal it is during the storm season (when the water level ascents up) when the perspectives from this palatial lodging are all the more dazzling.
History:
Truly significant as ‘Water Palace’, Jal Mahal is situated in the midst of the Man Sagar Lake and was developed by Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799. The excellence of the royal residence lies in its area as the royal residence cum inn is remaining in the focal point of the lake.
